Why are we very busy people?

Why are we very busy people? That's true for most of us, but let's consider what happens when that busyness pauses.
What about those moments when we are not busy working?

I'm not referring to times at work when clients are waiting, and problems are accumulating, requiring complete focus and energy.
However, there comes a time when we stop working, relax, and take a moment to analyze our days.
How does practicing meditation help restore our life energy at the end of the day?
Could meditation be the key to staying energized, working effectively, and enjoying more free time?
This brings us to a simple truth: everything is mind; mind is everything.
Everyone experiences a galloping thinking process: worrying, thinking about what's next, andpredicting only the worst outcome.  A lot of your life energy is wasted by the mind's uncontrolled activity.
Today I want to introduce a simple meditation, "Sitting well, doing nothing," which can help reclaim energy lost to mental activity. This form of meditation is simple; you'll need almost nothing to get started.
Sit comfortably, close your eyes, and literally do nothing.
I challenge you: take just 5 minutes today to sit quietly with yourself. Commit to this moment of self-observation.  Don't try to do anything. No thinking, no fancy breathing
.You may have a chance encounter with yourself that you've never had before.
Was that difficult to sit and not move? I wouldn't be surprised if you become aggravated and nervous. We are not accustomed to that situation; our minds and brains have no idea how to deal with it.
It is the first step toward controlling your unruly mind, restoring natural peace of mind. And use our energy fully
