My Forgiving

Image
Forgiving I know now I’m not as I was told I should be have been. I know now there is so much that I was told I should achieve, and I know I will not. I know now I will never fulfill all the expectations others place on me.  I know now I do, and will do, many things others will not approve. For all those failures and inadequacies, I’m forgiving myself. And I’m forgiving others; they wanted the best for me. I'm moving forward, living my own way.  That is   the best I  can do for the others, too.

Magic of this Christmas!

My Christmas Eve story. 2001 wasn’t the greatest year of my life. Arriving Christmas has met me short of money, truly short. Even buying a bus ticket to join my friends for Christmas Eve wasn’t something I could afford, not to mention even little gifts. So, you can only do what you can do - I decided to celebrate Christmas Eve alone, just by myself. The evening was excellent with a truly steep fall of snow. Considerable , slow-falling   snowflakes , quiet air without any trace of a wind, stillness, and quietness. After a while of watching that beauty through the window, I decided to go for a walk. Heavy winter boots, warm clothing, and here I am getting ready to go. Outside was even more amazing. No cars, no people, and that overwhelming silence and lights radiating through the windows of the houses nearby . And here and there, colorful Christmas trees' magnetic lights.    So I walked, and walked, and walked. The charm of Christmas Eve has taken me entirely  away. Re...

Beautiful snow make your day!

 Beautiful  snowy make your day!

Cold, snow, ice, gray skies. Storms arrive when you have something interesting to do outside.  Skipped appointments and out-of-whack work. Such is the beauty of the winter season. This is a chance to notice nature calling us to slow down, stay warm, conserve energy, and appreciate the season. Much of our energy is used to maintain body temperature and immunity. No wonder winter also brings low energy. What can we do? Stay warm and comfortable. Gather your family around the fireplace and enjoy the day together. Appreciate how smart and grown the kids are. When was your last day at home in a busy schedule? Eat food that energizes you. Everyone knows how to create and enjoy comfort. Due to a lower level of life energy, personal "winter demons" easily emerge. Feelings of loneliness, isolation, and fear; now is a natural time for them to be acting. Also, some deeper thinking may emerge. 'What is a sense of life? Why can't I achieve (your goal or challenge)?' Winter. Th...

.Our bodies naturally know how to move.

Image
Babies show true spontaneity. They cry when they want to cry,  love to laugh when they are happy! Our bodies naturally know how to move. Think about that first stretch as them needing something, stretching out their little legs, and trusting that someone will look after them. I sometimes imagine a younger version of myself, clapping with joy, crying when hungry, and wanting my mother’s comfort. I miss being that carefree, Andrzej. As we grow up, we become serious adults, always working toward goals and checking off to-do lists. It’s a familiar story. Let’s return to Qigong. These movements are a natural, spontaneous expression of the need for physical activity. Somebody may ask: Is that spontaneous? Why would I need a teacher? A Qigong helps you rediscover that lost sense of spontaneity. As we get older, our natural reactions fade, and we start living more from the head than the heart. Spontaneous Qigong can help us stay well.  Of course, I don’t expect my...

Our feelings shape our bodies.......

Image
Our feelings shape our bodies, just as our movements can shift our moods. But is this connection as powerful as it seems? T his exercise invites you to discover the subtle dance between your body and your emotions. The most powerful lessons come from experience. Try this simple exercise to feel how your posture can gently shift your emotional state. Settle into a chair and rest your palms gently on your inner thighs. Let your head drop, and your shoulders soften. Remain in this position for five to ten minutes, breathing slowly and tuning in to your feelings. If it feels overwhelming, pause and take a break. When you are ready, sit up tall, clench your fists on your thighs, open your eyes wide, and take in your surroundings. End the exercise whenever you feel ready. Move through this experience at your own pace. Allow its effects to settle and give yourself room to reflect.   By Andrzej Y

An easy way to handle a situation that made you anxious!

An easy way to handle a situation that made you anxious! There is a gentle spot at the center of your palm, sometimes  called the Palace of Anxiety. To find it, bend your fingers and notice where your middle finger touches your palm, near the  side closest to your ring finger. When you feel uncertain or anxious, gently press and rub this point with your thumb. This simple practice can help you feel calmer, especially before a test or when speaking in front of others. Our emotions affect our bodies, and our bodily actions affect our feelings!  ByAndrzej
